Sorry for all those people out there who are all upset and haven't discovered Many of us (with different makes of computer) had the problem right after new installation or updates and since mine also started charging again immediately after an update/shut down. But I am guessing that is something that Win 10 has stuck in here as a gift(?) to keep battery from over charging/overheating-since so Haven't tried letting the battery drain down, afraid to fool with it anymore. This is now a constant state as long as I have it plugged in, whether I am on theĬomputer or have shut down and restarted. My ASUS battery light now shows solid red which means it is charging however when I hit the icon for battery, it shows 90% and tells me it will be fully charged in 11 min.
